In 2017 Helen returns to Classical Opera to perform the role of Justice in Mozart’s rarely performed ‘The First Commandment’ at St. John’s Smith Square, London. In May Helen will perform the role of Dinah in Bernstein’s ‘Trouble in Tahiti’ for Lost and Found Opera in Perth, Australia. In June she returns to her alma mater for two performances as the Angel in Elgar’s ‘The Dream of Gerontius’ with the Sydney Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra and Conservatorium Choirs. She then returns to the United Kingdom to sing Mahler’s ‘Rückert Lieder’ with Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra. Later in the year Helen returns to Pinchgut Opera, Sydney, to perform the title role in a new production of Monteverdi’s ‘L’incoronazione di Poppea’. Whilst in Australia, Helen joins the Sydney Symphony and Queensland Symphony Orchestras for concert performances of Handel’s ‘Messiah’ in Sydney and Brisbane.
