With a passion for music education, Helen has experience teaching and coaching singers young and old, amateur and advanced. Her wholistic approach is intended to help the singer improve awareness of their body and mindset, to gain an understanding of technique, and to discover or regain ease and confidence in their singing. With performance experience spanning the operatic, song and concert repertory, Helen's coaching style also seeks to develop the 'singing actor' through detailed text and character work. Helen is an accredited Vocal Health First Aider, holds a Bachelor of Music (Voice) and Post Graduate Diploma (Opera) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and a Post Graduate Diploma (Opera) and International Artist Diploma (Opera) from the Royal Northern College of Music (Manchester). Helen offers sessions both in person and online.
